October 10, 2018 General Meeting

Date of Meeting: OCTOBER 10, 2018 from 5:30pm

Venue: Woden Senior Citizen’s Club, Corinna Street, Woden – enter Hall at back of building

       Light supper - $5              Tea/coffee & biscuits - $2            Raffle - $1 each or 3 for $2

Meeting Activities:

·         Chris Cranston’s talk about her work

·         Cutting fabric for syringe driver bags and heat packs (please bring your scissors, cutting mat, rotary cutter - patterns supplied)

Bring donations of pre-washed fabric to the meeting.

Charity Sewing Day

WHAT: making syringe driver bags and heat packs for Palliative Care ACT
WHEN: Saturday 17 November 10am to 4pm
WHERE: Community Room at Araluen Village 177 Badimara Street Fisher

Morning tea and light lunch will be provided.
Donations of pre-washed good quality cotton fabric can be brought to October meeting or to Araluen.
Fabric suitable for men, women and children is needed.

1 piece 18cm X 70 cm - for bag (or two pieces 18cm X 37cm - made with bottom seam)
1 piece 11cm X 120cm - for strap
